What happens on my first daycare visit?ON YOUR FIRST VISIT to the Perfect Doggy Daycare Centre you will need to bring your up to date Vaccination Certificate (including Kennel Cough and full import documents, if applicable). if your dog has been imported into the UK you will need to make an appointment prior to your assessment. You will be required to complete a short Registration Form.

How much is the initial daycare assessment?A FREE OF CHARGE assessment will be carried out lasting for approximately 2 hours. This is to establish your dogs suitability and also to ease your dog into any unfamiliar circumstances. Great care is taken with new and nervous dogs to introduce them carefully to their new friends. Puppies under the age of 24 weeks are welcomed to FREE sessions. Ask for details.

What are the requirements for using daycare?It is a requirement that your dog has the Kennel Cough Vaccine to use the Daycare. Following the nasal Kennel Cough vaccine your dog should not come into contact with any other dog for 14 days, and therefore will not be permitted into the Daycare Centre for that period. It is a requirement that you have full insurance for your pet to cover loss, injury or death whilst in the care of Perfect Pet Services. Male dogs over the age of 12 months must be castrated. In line with UK Government guidelines, all imported dogs from Europe must be tested for Brucella Canis prior to using the Daycare. This must be a test carried out by an official vet in the UK and be at least 3 months after the imported date. Please read our full Terms and Conditions When dogs mix together and engage in play or otherwise they sometimes get injured. If you, the owner object to this possibility you should reconsider using day care for your dog. It is a requirement that your dog(s) are insured to cover against all possibilities. As the day care centre is open plan we cannot accept aggressive dogs under any circumstances.

Should I bring my puppy to socialisation sessions?Puppies and adult dogs will benefit from socialisation throughout their lives. Everyone they meet, everything they see and everywhere they go will be a brand new experience for your puppy. This period as a puppy can make a big difference to their behaviour in later life, negative behaviour in fully-grown dogs can often be traced back to a lack of socialisation as a puppy. It’s therefore vital that you give your puppy a wide range of experiences in a calm and controlled way. And it’s our job to make it all as enjoyable as possible so that they learn to be relaxed, confident and friendly. Once fully vaccinated your puppy is welcome here at the Doggy Daycare Centre where we introduce and socialise your puppy in a controlled environment until they can be fully integrated with fully-grown dogs... there is no joining fee or contract. Up to the age of 6 months - TWO FREE 2 hour sessions.

Can I bring my European Rescue dog to daycare?In line with UK Government guidelines, all imported dogs from Europe must be tested for Brucella Canis prior to using the Daycare. This must be a test carried out by an official vet in the UK and be at least 3 months after the imported date. Please read our full Terms and Conditions

Do you sell Dog Food and Treats?We have a selection of Burns Dog Food and Skinners Dog Food at the Daycare. We also sell Scoops Dog Ice Cream as a special treat for your dog. We can advise you on all dog foods, ask us our staff for help.
